Carb Air Intake Mods
intercooler....
but before the turbo setup... i ran some flex pipe from the top of the carb down in front of the radiator. used a k&n filter. didn't notice any difference, so i went back to my racing beat open canister which gave me back my throttle response. i say humbug to these cold air intake setups on carb'd 12a's. get a heat shield over the header and do more for getting hot air OUT of the engine bay. that's your best bet overall

you could also:
get a carb hat and run piping in front of the rad. and have a K&N there
use the rb intake
use the stock air filter assembly with a K&N in there with piping in front of rad.
use a headlight cover scoop and run piping there- use a heat shield
hood scoop and filter right there- expensive
Use stock airbox and take filter out then piping in front of rad, K&N there- Maybe?
