Carb Adjustment
Well follow the manual for idle speed and mixture, really cant add much there except that I find the mix to easily adjusted using a vacuum gause hooked to manifold vacuum. Adjust it to the highest vacuum you can get.
Power tuning. Theres volumes written on the subject. DO a search on the intarweb for "carb tuning" . Since our carbs are closely related to a Holley, any info you find will be pertinent to our Nikkis. I have an EGT as well as an A/F meter. Makes life easier.

I only know the extreme rudimentary basics of carb tuning. I think there are two screws on the drivers side of the carb; one on the right is more a pan head and hard to get a driver on, the one on the left has a more rounded head.
You want to set the screw on the left out about 3 1/2 turns, then with a warm running engine turn the right screw until your idle is about 750 rpm.
That is everything my dumb *** knows about carb tuning
hope it was along the lines you are looking for.
