car wont start

car wont start

so i went to start my car this morning and when i went to turn my engine over it just made a loud popping noise and i lost all power, i put another battery in it and it powered up but it wont turn over

Check the battery cable where it connects to the starter and battery. Could be a loose or corroded connection...

If that loud popping noise is from an electrical connection WATCH OUT, it could start a fire. If the old cables look chancy replace them with copper cables. The old cables are aluminum, and require special attention to secure good connections.
