My 85 RX7 GS 5 spd, warms up fine w/choke, but then dies when i let it idle, after it warms up. can drive it if i keep the rs up,, Also keeps blowing the meter back fuse,Is that connected to the idle dieing? Thanks

 

Whats a "meter back fuse"? Do you have all stock emissions hooked up or stripped? We need more info on your setup to help out.

 

No idea what the meter back fuse is,, Thats what it says on the fuse box cover,,

 

Yes everything seems to be hooked up,,

 

get the wiring diagram from here and trace out the circuit that has "meter back fuse."

Got the short fixed, wasnt related to the Idle,, That was a dirty carb, and a vacumn leak down below, idles good now,,Thanks !
