car will idels extremly rough

i figured it was a vacume line, looking at them I cant see any that are leaking or disconected, does anyone know the specific hose I should look for?- could it be something else?- spark plugs are newer- so are the coils and wires- also there seems to be no loss when accelerating

What year and engine?

There isn't a specific hose. The best you can do is listen for a leak, then see if it fluctuates with rpm increase. This helps to isolate it.

While you have your head under there and it's running, rev it up a little (place your index finger on the throttle and push ) and see if you notice anything odd, especially hissing.

When hunting down vacuum leaks, get a can of carb cleaner.. the cheap stuff if possible. And just spray down your lines. If your rpms jump, you have a leak. Then the fun part comes from hunting it down....
