Car stalls in turns and on hills
For the record, 1985 S.
Having a weird weird problem, or maybe it's a normal one, I dunno.
Lately, taking off in first around a turn, the car stutters a lot.
Coming to a stop with the clutch in and breaking lightly, the car stalls.
Going around a turn with light gas, car stutters and occaisionally stalls.
Car stalls, with the clutch in, on sharp downhill turns.
This has been going on for about 3 days now, getting worse and worse. Seems to me, since the stalling and rpm dipping happens during turns or stops, that the gas is probably sloshing around. I thought it might just be a gas tank issue, so I put in gas, and no luck. So maybe gas is sloshing around in the carb? I don't get it. Any solutions? Anyone else had this happen?
Thanks.

1) Change your fuel filter.
2) look through the sight glasses on your carb and make sure it is filled to the centerline.
3) take your fuel line off the carb and place it into a cup, turn your ignition to the on position and see how much fuel comes out. There should be x amount of fuel per y amount of seconds. Somebody else is going to have to fill in the variables, i don't know them off the top of my head.
Good luck.

could it be your floats? i know that you have to change your floats on a holley to take sharper corners with out stalling. holley sells a race float bowl kit. check them out
