Car seems to wobble at slow speeds

I have a 84 gslse it tends to vibrate on the highway at speeds above 70 and i noticed this weekend while sitting in traffic that slow speeds, about 10 (which was unfortunately as fast as we went for about 10 miles) that the car seemed to wobble sorta up and down. I replaced the sway bar and control arm bushings recently and the tie rod ends are next. I was wondering if the wheel bearing being bad could cause the wobble. I would appreciate any input. Thanks

start by putting the car in the air and spinning a wheel, you're looking for a bent whee, or a bad tire or something.

if the wheel has play, you need to redo wheel bearings

Unless you have recently hit something hard enough to bend it, you probably have a bad tire (belt slipping, separating, etc.). If you put it up in the air, you might be able to see it. Good luck...

I had a similar problem after repainting my wheels. I guess the weight of the paint threw off the balance. You may have kicked a weight, though I doubt it. At about 130KPH (75MPH) the front end would shake pretty good. Had them rebalanced when I had the rear tires replaced and the shimmy is all gone. Have them checked for proper balance first then start worrying about bent and broken things.

If the car sat stored for quite a while, you may have developed a flat spot on one or more tires, as well.

its a shifted belt in the tire, 100%. if you get it up on a jack and spin the tire you will see the slight wobble.

I took a look at the tire and that seems to be the cause of the wobble the car did sit for quite some time, the man who owned it before me had the car since 88 and only put 2000 miles on it so im guessing thats when the problem developed now, now i must ask what tires would be the best for replacements, im talking reasonably priced?

Check out the Sumitomo HTR 200. They run about 50 bucks each and perform pretty well for the money.

I have the same problem even with 3 new tires, the car drives extremely hard anyway. I believe its my drive shaft though
