car dies while driving

OK so my problem is that the car idles fine, but when I start to go it starts driving real harsh like bogging down. I think it might have something to do with the fuel system. It won't let you rev it when it starts to bog down and then eventually the car will just stall. I have had no previous problems with it. Has 3/4 tank of gas, oil is full and recently changed, coolant full and recently changed as well. Air filter is also new this leads me to think it is fuel system. Any foresight would be greatly appreciated! My car is a 1983 LE

When was the last time you changed the fuel filter?

Recommend you perform a fuel pressure/quantity test. Procedure can be found in the FSM which can be found in my signature.

Recommend you download your version for reference.

I was thinking it might be the fuel filter. Where is it located?

I had a similar problem. is your car stock? I was running the weber 45 and there was a screen on the inlet of the carb, it was clogged not letting enough fuel through. I just stumbled across it one day. I change the fuel filter and everything prior to finding it. I had no idea what was going on. When I found it, it was one of those "OHHHHHH....yea, that makes sense" moments. If it's stock, I would imagine it's your fuel filter. I just wanted to share a funny story of mine
