Driveshafts: How many are there?
I'm aware that there is a difference between SA and FB driveshafts because of the different transmission lengths, and I think there is a different driveshaft for the -SE. I'm also positive that there is a difference betweeen a 1985 driveshaft and a 1982 driveshaft. My question is, How many other driveshafts are there? I purchased a driveshaft at a u-pull yard when I was in lower Michigan earlier this month because I forgot to keep my driveshaft that mates up with my 1982 rear axle. This driveshaft has a different flange that bolts to the rear axle. Attached are photos of my two driveshafts that won't bolt up to my rear axle.

alright, well then why do I have two driveshafts with different flanges, one from an '85 and one that is from an unknown year out of a u-pull yard, they have different flanges, and neither bolts up to my rear end? Tomorrow I'll take a picture of the input flange on my rear end (1982 rear end)

Good question?
There is only a small and large flange as designated from the year split.

well, i feel like an idiot. I woke up today and went "wait, if there is a difference in the bolt spacing on my '85 driveshaft, there may be different bolt spacing on my other driveshaft too." Sure enough, I put the trans in neutral, slid the driveshaft in place and spun it by the rear axle input flange and the bolts lined up. NOOB mistake.
