So my gas guage doesnt work and my car bogged out so it thought I was out of gas I had some lucus fuel injection clear so i put it in just to see if it would get me a 1/2 mile to the gas station and somone brought me gas then my car wouldn't start So I don't think that gas is making it to my engine but I just changed the fuel filter and the fuel pump is making noise like its on. so put more gas in thinking maybe it just needed more gas and nothing does anyone have any ideas when I am trying to start my car I don't smell any gas either.

 

first, pull the fuel line off at the carb and see if fuel is getting up to the carb ... the pump might be dry, it wont pump air..... you might need to prime the fuel pump to get fuel to flow through it again..
