cant find parts ?

hey im doing an engine swap in my 1985 gsl se. before i can pt the motor back in i need a gasket for the oil pickup, front housing and the oil pan but i can find them anywhere unless i buy a whole kit which i definatly dont want to waist my money on. I also need a water pump gasket but i cant find one of those. could someone please help me find a site that sells them? thanks

Accually the complete gasket set is the way to go. Excluding the internal stuff like the oil seals and water seals. There are usualy gaskets in the set that you cant buy alone. Plus if you already ahve them when your motor blows youll already have a complete gasket set.

A lot of people prefer not to use a gasket at all on the sump and front cover. Just a bead of silicone.

Either way is acceptable. Just use a good quality RTV like the Permatex Ultra range.

Just run a bead and bolt it up. Don't wipe the bead before install. I don't recommend using it on the oil pick up. Buy a sheet of gasket material, the gray stuff, and make your own.
