Thanks for props, or whatever the kids are saying these days. However I think he's asking about ignitors only. GM HEI is a pretty good replacement for your stock J-109 ignitors. A '79 Corvette is what to say when you go to AutoZone. It should be the 4 pin version. Don't get the 7 pin.

haha I just went to advanced auto to buy 3 of these HEI ignitors and the guy behind the counter didnt even know what the hell an ignitor was. I guess I need to find a new parts store...
Oh, and can you use these HEI ignitors on a stock ignition system?
