Can anyone recommend a GOOD rotary Mechanic in Central OH?

Perferably in or around the Columbus area.
I have carb and vacume issues and I would rather not pay the $75 an hour rate at the dealership to get it fixed.

Carswell's Rotary Connection in Pataskala. Ken has been working on them since 1977 or so. It is a small shop, but he knows his stuff, particularly on the old rotaries. (740) 927-7629

The other place I would recommend, though not rotary specialists, they have done a decent amount of tuning and rotary work. It is The Northend Wrench on Indianola in Clintonville. (614)263-4978. Ask for Dave. The only problem is they run a 3-4 week backlog.

I am in Hilliard myself, let me know if you want me to come over and take a look for free. It'll be next week though.

 

Hey thanks a million. I was actually looking for your email address and was hoping you woudl reply to this thread. I've heard of The North End Wrench just didn't think about them.
If you want to come over and take a look at the beast I would certianly appreiciate it. I really have no idea how to troubleshoot this vacume leak.
I'll call you towards the end of the week when I'll have more time to work on it.
