blown 83 is selling it. He tells more about it over on the other forum. And he is not selling the engine just the charger. So you do not have to have the counter weight.

Man I like that outfit. Covers that hole in the engine bay quite nicely. No big tubes snaking around, just a big *** blower and a mondo-serpentine belt and a heaping pile of 4bbl..
Mmmm-mmm! Down low, snap your head back, ***** to the wall acceleration!
If I did'nt have to worry about college funds for the kids, I'd be buying that puppy and getting a line on a 13B 4 port right now!

10 PSI... it sounds like he got 1,000 miles and his engine blew. Atkins is dishonest about what these superchargers can or should be doing. I asked them a few questions in a series of e-mails and they just bounced from one lie to the next.
PS You can get new manifolds from atkins. They quoted me $275.

Jim85rx7: That is exactly what I want my wheels to look like, did you order them that way? I forgot why they couldn't do them the way I wanted, it's been almost a year since I ordered the wheels.
Sorry to jack the thread, the supercharger sounds like a really good deal if the listing is accurate.

Where to start....this is a legitimate deal! Atkins has yet to lie to me. They have always been easy to contact, deal with, and overall a good supplier for me. I have spoken directly to Dan numerous times as well as everyone in their operation I believe.
The reason my engine blew at approx. 400 miles (not the 1000 listed above) was due to using a "deal" of a 13B from a guy I know very little in Las Vegas. He stated the 13B was fresh with very little mileage on it and everything (a hot ignition with no rev limiter, a supercharger, light flywheel, wet pavement, and my heavy *** foot) cratered the 13B at about 14000 RPM. It paegged the 10K tach and took a bit to come down off the peak. Upon tearing down the 13B, I discovered a horrible porting job, and just about every used part that you can put in one. The only thing that I was able to transfer over to my new 13B was the Racing Beat 115psi oil press regulator and my oil pan. The rest made a nice boat anchor.
As I have stated in the ebay auction, I have decided to go perfiferal port with a IDA setup. The 13B in the pic is already accounted for by someone else. I can go right now and drive this setup with absolutely no worries as to the reliability and function.
As for HP with a big street, I would guess around 300-310 at the flywheel. Dan may be able to clarify this as well as explaining the extra pre-drilled mounting holes in the manifold. I haven't been able to contact Atkins to confirm, but I believe this manifold will work for any style 4-port but not the 6-port.
I hope this clarifies some stuff. Email me if you would like questions answered directly from me. Thanks for your interest.

Ive been dealing with Atkins for about 3 years now, and with the superchargers. They are good peoples. They try to make us rotary peoples happy. Im completly happy with my supercharger setup, with no problems with my motor from the blower setup.
See problem being when you live in the same state as Atkins, you do business with them, visit with them, and love them. Cutting them down is like cutting my family down, so please before jumping and saying they are dishonest etc...find out more info, maybe call them and ask or tell them why you have these ill feelings. Im sure they will be happy to answer.

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
The (e-mail) dialogue went like this:
Me: What level of boost is recommended for a stock-port/compression 12a? Or is it recommended to use one at all?
Them: Around 8-10 psi is good for the 12A.
Me: 5) 8-10lbs sounds a bit excessive for a car that's driven on the street regularly. Are you sure that's not too much?
Them: If you are installing this kit on a stock non-ported engine then we will send it with a pulley that will provide around 6 PSI.
Me: [paraphrased] How much power can I expect from my 12a with a RB SP exhaust and an MSD at 6 PSI?
Them: The power should be around 275+ and the milage all depends on driving style.
Me: [paraphrased] That can't be right.
Them: Sorry the hp figure is for a 13B for the 12A it is 233hp. I could only estimate that the MPG would be around 20-24 on the highway.
This is where it stopped, because that's the same number they have on the website, but for something like 12 PSI, not 6.

Really, if I hadn't done any research I'd probably be selling one with 400 miles on it right now too.

How do we install a boost enrichment system on a carburetor?
Fuel mixture is extremely critical when operating under full boost as a lean mixture can lead to detonation. A boost enrichment system can be added to provide a slightly richer mixture under full throttle, max boost operation. The cooling effect of a rich mixture can prevent detonation under wide open throttle, full power conditions. If managed properly, the slight loss of power due to excessive richness will hardly be noticed.
