Camber questions

I recently purchased and installed a set of KMAC camber/caster plates. With the plates in the far back and in position, I can get 1 degree of negative camber on the passenger side, but only 1/2 a degree on the drivers side. What are the culprits for the differences in camber adjustment? Also, shouldn't I be able to get more adjustment out of these plates, or am I SOL until I go to a coil-over setup?

If your springs or top perch is hitting the body, you're SOL until you get smaller dia. springs. Maybe you can get more camber adj. if you don't put them all the way back(for max caster).

I'm not familiar with these plates. Post a pic and maybe I can see what's going on.

jgrewe is right. The top spring hat limits the adjustment. I got KMAC's with ground control coil overs. I can get about 2.5 degrees max which seems to work fine for autocross/track.

That's good to know. I've got a spare strut housing to try out, so hopefully that's all that is bent and I can get some extra negative camber on the drivers side.

Did you have any problems using the KMAC plates with the coil-over setup?

Does the lower ring with the studs still work with the coil-over spring hat?

No problem using the KMAC together with the ground control parts. There is no interference between the lower ring and the top spring hat. The hat is the same diameter as the OD of the 2.5 inch coils. I did use the thick stock spacer between the spring hat and the bearing of the camber plate. When I ordered from GC they wanted to know what strut insert so that they can match the hole size of the spring hat to the shock shaft.
