Calling for help to NIkki carb gods again..

Ok heres something strange. Tonight I get around to goto walmart, start the car and its running like total ****. I get it to my dads and get to check it out, and the damn secondaries are pouring out gas at idle-2k rpm. I messed with my floats like a week ago tomorrow.. and it was a bent float on the opposite side. Now it kinda did both, then just the left side (from passenger) What do I need to do to fix this, and what did I do wrong?.. I have a fuel pressure regulator also, and I had it set at 3.5psi and havent run it majorly yet. Please help and thanks.

i would first drop the fuel pressure to 2.5 and start there. then recheck those damn floats. actually. tap on the banjo fittings a little bit while it's running. not too hard though!

Tapping on the carb worked for me once.

Sterling or Carl or anyone else know? I bashed the thing last night a few times hoping that would work. It stopped the one side but the left side still just pours gas down still.

You have the float bowl vent solenoid hooked up, right?

EXACTLY what did you do to adjust the floats, and what was the measurements of each float?
(I'm talking float [i]level[i] and float drop measurments.)

Did you ever bend the retaining wire that clips on to the needles?

Are you absolutely certain that you have both pin springs installed?

(You have to start from the beginning because I can't remember what was up last time with your situation.)

I just set the floats again and they seem to work. The mesurment while its upsidedown is 16mm. The drop is 51. I made sure the front corners matched too. I also noticed that my mech secondaries broke, as I had them welded previously. That lasted about 6 months. Is there a better way to do (doesnt have to be easy) ?
THanks !
