calling all racing beat fanatics!!!
I am installing a racing beat exhaust sys. on my 1 st. gen., the engine is 12A and the rest is entirely stock, however I can not make heads or tails of their directions. I have already installed the header, presilencere, connector pipe, and muffler; but, I do not totally understand the rest. My understanding is that I should take off the air pump and belt, use the supplied part to close the intake manifold valve, use another suppled part to close the air intake pipe, and plug three hoses off of the air filter unit that the aforementioned processes discovered. Are there any additional steps that I missed or does that cover it? Any assistance would be appreciated!
I havnt removed my airpump on my SE although I know that it would be better to lose that parasitic drag BUT it does keep my eyes from tearing which is good, and especially any motorbike cops that may be nearby behind me

I personally would change over to mechanical secondaries with the mod's you listed, makes it more zippy!
Very simple to do, just need some mechanics wire and pull the 2 10mm bolts off the afterburn valve in back of the carb and then do it. Takes less then 5minutes and gives you remarkable response with the carb, but a little hestiation if you slam it too hard at lower then 1500rpm though.
