How long have you had your FB?

 

Well, technically I shouldn't be posting in the FB rolecall... it's an SA (but come on, how many are left, really???)

I bought the '79 SE eight months ago from a friend. It was his hobby car (therapy after a long workday) for a few years, but he didn't drive it much. He bought the car from someone in Victoria, B.C. that had it in storage for 10 years. Ultimately having to sell it broke his heart, so I made sure it "stayed in the family".

The car has beautiful original paint (Yellow "Spark"), and 113K. It runs good and strong, but I'm preparing for a rebuild this fall. -The side seals are going... smoke on startup if it has not been run for 2+ days, and smoke ~7000rpm.

This thing has been a lot of fun bringing back up to spec. It's been a great car, and I'm proud to bring it back out of early retirement as a daily driver.
