A/c Delete info needed

I recently bought an 85 GSL and the A/C doesnt work, so I just want to remove it. Can somebody tell me what all I can take out and if I have to reroute anything?

Thanks.

Compressor, bracket, if you don't have ps, lines, condensor and expansion tank. That gets you to the firewall, the only other part is the coil inside the cabin, which is a lot of work and may require dash removal.

I removed the unit under the dash witout removing the dash.It was only held in place with about 4-6 nuts, and bolts, and the unit drops down. The tricky part was finding the foot long triangle shaped hose that went in place of the unit on a non-air conditioned car.It seems Mazda sold most of these cars with A/C.If you need this piece I am selling mine from my 83 which I am parting out.

No if you have ps, and want to keep it, the bracket stays.

Forget power steering, be a man! You got all the powersteering you need in those two arms of yours. Pull it all out!

Yeah... I would be willing to get rid of the power steering, but I bought this car with the intentions of using it to take my drivers test for my liscense. (just turned 18). My other car is a 5-speed VW Corrado that I rebuilt and I just wasnt likely to pass the test with a standard.
I'm just trying to get my Rx-7 running properly so I can take the freakin test. The thing stutters horribly whenever I initially apply pressure to the accelerator. If I feather the gas, it's fine. I just cant "hammer" the gas or it stalls, which gets very annoying.

you don't need the triangle tube, all you need do is pull that box out from the passenger side under the dash, open the box up and take the metal thing (name?), then seal it up, but keeping the triangle ports open so the air can still flow through it. That is what I did and it works just fine.

I don't know, how does $20 shipped to you on the left coast sound? It is a pretty rare piece I think because it took me a while to find one as these cars seemed to all come with A/C.I am open to offers though if you think that is high.I am not out to screw anybody here, but I don't want to give things away either.
