A/C controls don't work....

I just picked up a 85 GSL and the A/C controls (push button type) don't work. They don't light up or control where the air goes. Has anyone had problems with this and if so, how did you fix it. I did a search but didn't find anything.

are you sure the car still has the a/c in it? Most 7's have them removed for that extra little horsepower.

The A/C is still in the car. The car is pretty much an untouched original. It's not just the A/C I'm worried about. None of the HVAC controls work. Can't redirect the air at all. Not to the defroster, the dash, etc. Only the fan and temp controls work.

Check the 15A air conditioning fuse, that is likely the problem. If you find that the controller itself is bad, I have an extra one that you can have, but I don't think the A/C switch on it works.

Thanks, Kent

I'll check that when I get home and let you know if I need it.
