After winter startup

Well i finnaly got a nice day out so i could work on the ol 7 ( 50 degrees ) so i finally got the old exhaust off and bolted up my rb header and reconnected everything else and started her up for the first time in 3 months... damn is it loud with just the open header... the mailman was looking at me like my car was about to explode... weird thing is there was no smoke... but oh well... i do however have a few questions.. i have everything for the direct fire ignition but i need some help on how to install it.. like how do you know when you are at top dead center so i can put the new dizzy in? also how can you check to see if your oil squirters are working? um other than that i still have that starting problem where i have to turn the key on and start the car with a push button because it wont start with the key maybe it is my ignition switch.. any ideas or help with anything would be great thanks.
