Ok, to start off with, I already did a search for switching a logicon into a series 3 dash, and I found nothing specifically about doing so. Hence, I'm making a new thread. And, as you might have guessed by the first sentence, here's my question: Is it straightforward to put the button-type logicon vent and A/C control from an '84 GSL into my '84 GS as a direct replacement for the standard lever-type control module. Thanks.

Maybe somebeody else here has done it?
I just remember this from when I changed my 81 GSL to an 85 GSL dash back in the ealry 90's. I did it, but I just left the AC on COLD and VENT permanently. (heat isn't needed in South Florida
Then I put the button type logicon on, for the proper looks.
