Angry Buzzer not working

The buzzer that goes on when you first start the car isn't going on anymore in my car. Anyone know where it is located (under the dash, behind the radio, behind the speedo cluster?) on an 85 and how to fix it? Thanks to all those who help.

there is one that goes off when the door is open. It is located on the kick panel, above and behind the hood release pull lever.

i hate that buzzer.. that was one of the first things that i disconnected...

the one that goes on when you have the ignition on, if the doors are open, is wired into the ignition.. on the sa's is it two wires with a black connector (probably similiar in the rest of the first gens).

Ok, I see two boxes - one big one with a big harness going into it and a little one next to it with some brown and green wires going into it. Which one is it?

it would help if there was a more detailed diagram of the buzzer itself. i'm thinking that the big box is the cpu and that the little one is the buzzer. any thoughts on how to get this little bugger out?

OK, that big black box I was talking about controls the flashers and the wipers. It's basically got a ton of resistors and capacitors on it, and also some relays. There is a little blue speaker on it too. I checked the voltage there and I'm not getting anything. Could the board be bad?

if the rest of the **** works, then it is just the solinoid.. you should be able to replace just that easily enough. check your local junk yard..

although, in my opinion, it is not worth it.. i found that buzzer annoying as hell
