For sale is a 1980 Mazda RX-7 with 125000 original miles. Pictures show a log book of all maintenance performed including every gas fill up to 80,000 miles estimated!!!! The car is completely factory stock except for the extremely rare spoiler and is in excellent condition for its age. The car comes with three sunroofs that are scratch free - 1 painted red, 1 painted black (??), and 1 smoked glass - and a pouch to carry the extra two. Also it comes with 2 extra seats (excellent condition) and a box of goodies (hoses, belts, 2 extra tail light assemblies, ect.) Most of which are extremely hard / rare to come by. The car is red exterior and black interior. The car has A/C but needs Servicing. I am the 2nd owner, the original owner owned it for 27 years, we have kept it in a garage and serviced it on a regular basis. First owner was very meticulous. This car has always been driven (at least once a month). It has decent tires and is ready to drive. The car is in excellent condition, with a few minor flaws that you would expect from a 28 year old car. The engine is strong and runs well. Compression tests passed 5.0 just recently. The transmission shifts smoothly as well. The body is in excellent condition but there is one minor dent shown in pictures (not bad at all). The front of the car has no pebble chips that is usually common to a 28 year old car with such a low front end. The interior is in a remarkable condition. All the weatherstripping is in excellent condition. This car has never been smoked in. I will not be driving this car anymore. This is my toy, that I will hate to give up. I will more than likely cry when it leaves. This car is sold as-is, where-is with no warranty either expressed or implied. I have tried to honestly represent the car to the best of my knowledge and recollection. Please keep in mind this is a 28 year old car – it is not perfect, but it is in excellent condition. I have all service records, books, window sticker and the original RX-7 key chain (unbelievably rare). This car has spent the first 28 years of its life in southern MD and never driven in bad weather. Car is in excellent condition with little to NO rust (pic). I reserve the right to end the auction early. Buyer is responsible for shipping or pick up. It is your responsibility to arrange for transportation and cover all expenses. The car must be picked up in a timely manner after the sale. The winning bidder must pay a $500 deposit within 72 hours after the end of the auction, with the balance to be paid in full within 10 days. No personal checks.
