buy or make - Ignition Wires

I have a 12a and need new ignition wires. Where is a good place to get good Ignition Wires? What Brand? Do you think it is better to buy or to make the wires? What do you guys use?

Just get some pre-made wires. IT's not really worth the hassle to fight with making your own. You can either pick up a set from your local auto parts store or you can get sets from rockauto.com or mazdatrix.com etc.

Since I am using a 2nd gen coil, mounted on the strut tower, the stock plug wires were much much longer than I needed. I built my own using a kit from Autozone. I believe it is made by Accel. Worked out great.

I bought one from Advanced Auto Parts I think.

One of the wires JUST fit. Too tight for my liking actually.

Now I have the 2nd gen coil and I have to make more wires this winter.

For a stock ignition set up, stock NGK is the most logical way to go. For somone with a custom set up, its the persons decision.

I have a FC coil on my drivers side strut tower. I think I am using FB/FC coils. I am not sure, theyre too long, but I am not that worried abou it. I may address it in the future though, probably not unless a problem arises.
