burning coolant?

i changed radiator and belts , im running without t-stat
thanxs!
If you're car is blowing white smoke you might be burning coolant. The white stuff inside the coolant passages is probably normal build up. Also, I wouldn't suggest running without a themostat. I know some people do this, but it can actually make your engine run hotter because the coolant isn't in the radiator long enough to cool down any. I'd give the coolant system a good flush. Also, you should check your oil lines and the oil cooler to make sure they're functioning properly. Bad oil cooling can also increase your water temperature.
