which bumpers "fit'

ok, I've done a search, saw an 05 civic bumper grafted to the front of an FB (amazing job, btw). What else is close enough that it would fit without too much major reconstruction?
the more details the better

I believe 1st gen Integra (87-89?) will fit with some modification. Someone on here did one like this.

Integra bumper

I think I downloaded this photo from this forum , don't remember when. Of course it is not blended like the Civic bumper shown here recently, so presumably it was much easier, but then it does not change the appearance so much either.

For those without any bodywork experience, this would be a good option, and there must be other bumper choices. My concern with either approach is how to back it up with a substantial structure.

1st gen eagle talon/eclipse. You will need to cut the fenders off at the body line to make it look right though. Also would need to figure out a way to make turn signals. Other than that, it should be OK. I am doing this BTW.

This looks like an integra install, VERY NICE BTW: not to showy and flows well with the body lines.... I would do this..

heres a pic

its from an 89 integra and it was cut a little to fit and if you want a bumper support you need to keep the teggy one and modifiy it to fit the fb.

what all did you have to do to the rx7 body to get the integra bumper to fit? cutting, modifying, etc?

you know if you dont have anything positive to contribute to the thread dont post... grow up... if you dont like the wing then so be it... i like it and thats all that matters so leave it...

there isnt much modding i found at least... just gotta cut a few of the holes of where it would screw into on the stock car and then just as greg told me... use your imagination as to putting it on the car... lol... i think it looks good... and i am actually going to be putting a late 80s accord rear bumper on the back... it'll go with the flow of the front bumper and add some looks... i dont know i'll have to see how it looks...

peace

i found the rear bumper on the integra looks like it would work as good as the front, plus it would match the front

Wow, that actually looks pretty damn nice.

I'm designing my own though.

^^ I don't like the sideskirts, and maybe fiberglass over some of the useless ducts in the airdam. Other than that I'd be interested in what is is as well. I just really like long noses.

found it, and I'm not liking it anymore. The original body kit. http://www.veilside.com/veilsideusa/...n/240ciii.html

But it is giving me ideas.

I wish I could find out who's car that is and find out how much he had to modify the bumper to fit
