i wouldn't use bondo but fiberglass would do the trick if you take your time and do a good job at it

Going 130 mph you'll get a fair bit of wind... And then pass a semi head-on and you get A LOT of wind. I'd highly recommend against bondo for that reason alone.

I actually had my window trim fly off just from passing a semi head-on... Broke all 3 clips instantly.

As far as the project goes I don't think I'd like it. The bumper is wrapped around the edges and I'm not sure I'd want it different. To each their own though; good luck!

but if you do the bondo thing,, do this : where ever you are going to apply the bondo drill a few small holes, that gives it something to hold on too, the same for fibreglass.

There's a property of materials called CLTE = Coefficient of Linear Thermal Expansion. Without taking you into a bunch of mumbo-jumbo, here's the skinny: Plastic expands/contracts many times more with temperature changes than steel does. Therefore, unless the plastic is bonded extremely well to the steel, you will get cracks at the interface. I can't imagine a way to carry this out (nor have I seen it done, even with fiberglass) that didn't eventually crack.

I know an honest areo kit manufacture will tell you to NOT try to "smooth" their pieces onto the car due to the craking etc. There is a guy's Integra I see running around where I work that bond his "kit" to his car and : 1 it looks like crap, even if it wasn't cracked & 2 It's craked. IMO don't do it, the first time you curb or bump anything up front you'll regret having it bonded.

Maybe a better solution would be to replace the whole front that would normally be the bumper, the front valence, and the middle piece between the headlights. Then the only seem would be between the front of the fender and the front piece but being a large single piece integrated into the hood it might have the look you want.
