brought home a GSL-SE today....

Hey

Picked up my GSL-SE today.......Flew up to Sacramento
and drove back to So Cal.........450 miles........

80-100 all the way back........car hauls.......compared to my other gsl automatic........

I have a squeal.........When I start the car and till it just gets going........ then it goes away........Sounds like a belt is slipping.......all new belts were installed........

I ran out of sunlight...........Could this be power steering pump? I was told it had one but I could not locate it from the top......also was told to watch out for the water pump? Car never overheated......never got higher
than 1/4.........

The PS pump is just below the A/C bracket. Just follow the filler neck to the reservoir.

You'll love the car. I'm on my third and still have 2 of them.

Squealing noise sounds like the hot start assist motor. But is there one on a GSL-SE?

No, there is no hot star assist. That's for CARB'd motors only. The electronics do all the stuff like that...

update

That squealing noise........... My lights came on today so I shut her down......Two belts were gone.........


Was told that the last company that installed the belts did not tighten them correctly........previous owner......

No more squeal........
