Bridgeport with omp question
K guys my question is, will the omp pump enough oil to keep the internal lubricated on a bridgeport thats going to be used only for road racing? It will be supplied with 2 stroke oil from an external tank.

we were just talking about this the other day. i feel that the metering pump is better, because it oils ALL THE TIME. with premix when the throttle is closed, you get no oil, unless you have it jetted super rich, in which case it is going to be a bucking undriveable beast....
also the metering pump is always there, you can't forget, and if you're streeting the car, you don't have to do anything, just drive.
however for a track event, i'd add some premix to the tank too.

K so do the external tank with two stroke and pre mix slightly? What would be a good ratio for this? I know if you take of the omp its like a 150:1 would a 200:1 or 250:1 sound good?
