brakes question

is there supposed to be a "anti squeal" metal plate on the back of each pad on my 83 gsl? does anyone know if they are sold? if so where?

AHHHHH nevermind, thats just the rear. does anyone know if the fronts are supposed to be there, those are whats squeaking anyway!
