Red face Brakes are creaking, how bad is this?

My brakes are creaking pretty loudly but they still work. they are drum brakes and it doesn't happen all the time (except for mornings, until the car warms up they creak constantly)
I can feel slight extra vibration in the car when the creak happens, I have a bad feeling about it but am not sure how serious it really is

Anyone have any ideas?

Time to pull the drums and inspect.

Might just be dirty or rusty, might be glazed and need a little burnishing, the shoes might need adjustment, or you might need new shoes.

Probably just a lack of grease on some of the moving parts. I love your screen name by the way!

Thanks for the ideas, I will check them out.

Thanks! the story behind my name is pretty simple, I'm a ballerina dancer and I love cars. Seemed pretty fitting
