Brakes?

Hello all. I was looking at the front breaks of my car and they seem completly worn out. I dind this strange because teh back brakes look fine. Is it normal for the front brakes to whare out so quick?

Also what could be the reason for the isue.

I will further investigate tomorrow, but if anyone has pictures of the front brake assembly and rear break assembly, I would greatly apritiate if you would post them up.

Thanks Ted.

Yes, I believe this is normal. Front brakes generally do most of the braking.

I mean the fronts are like gone, and the backs are like new.

maybe the backs need adjusted.. the fronts usually do about 80% of the braking

like..replace them..no investigation needed you would wear out too if you had an engine located directly above you ..when you put on the brakes the front gets more pressure of the brake sytem..I think the ratio is 70% front and 30% to the back..if more was applied to the back you would lock up the *** end ..layman's view, that is why your front brakes wear out faster..

they wear out even if there is an engine in the back.. when you brake your momentum is still going forwards.. so most of the force is on the front tires.. the backs are just there so the rear doesnt flip up

endless pad are what i got $300au, they are good but hope they last longer than mazda pads do- though the mazda pads are good . I have a brake bias as well so i can tell it what to do, like "hand brake"mode that is a reverse to the factory settings. I was lucky enough to find a dead rally rx-7 with everything but the cage and dash/steering wheel, wheels, glass, lights etc, etc. I got my trans though and all the suspension, diff ,13b pp, 650 holley. Yee ha.
anyone ever mada a roll cage for these? would love some plans before i re-fit an interior.
Just replace the pads.
