brake rotor upgrade

I have an 82 fb and I noticed that the brake rotor and the hub are a single unit. I was wondering if it was possible to put the rotor/hub combo from an 84-85 onto my car get the 4x114.3 bolt pattern, or do I have to get the complete suspension. I have a ford 302 in my car so I need bigger wheels/tires to achieve any traction at all. Any info would be helpful.

for the fronts you could swap in gsl-se strut housings. you have to switch the whole housing because the spindle is part of it. then you could use gsl-se brakes and rotors. as far as the back... short of swaping the whole rear... maybe you could get some custom axels made.
