Sounds like you might need to rebuild your calipers. Was there any damage to the boot around the piston?

Is anything physically jammed between the rotor and the pad?

Bolts

Changed my brake pads and mixed up two bolts when i put the right side brake back on, the brakes would drag and randomly lock up on until i switched them back around, they look very similar and it is an easy mistake to make after alot of work, may be something like this

The Calipers are sticking. Two causes. The slides are binding/stuck or the piston is stuck and holding out. You can grease the sliders and fix it if it is the first one. If the pistons are sticking then you need to do a rebuild. Advance auto has the rebuild kits for appox $9 each. generaly takes a day for them to order them. I have had to rebuild the calipers on 3 cars I have owned and it seams to be a very normal problem. FLush the brake fluid while you are rebuilding them. I can walk you through how to do the rebuild if you need.
