brake pads

Anybody running Hawk HP brake pads?

I looked at the Hawk website, and I'm interested in the HP brake pads, not the HP+ or HPS.. it's for my GSL-SE streeter.. anybody have experience with these pads?

PM ItzWeapon on the forum. He had them on his 300 HP GSL-SE Turbo. From my conversations with him, they were excellent,
although they needed to warm up a little to really grab.<= Not difficult in a 300 hp 1st Gen )

Yeah, I am just full of useless information.

Actually, Itzweapon is a very good "local" friend of mine that I met on the forum. He's one of the few guys within 20 miles that isn't still in high school with a first gen.

I remember the details of his brakes because his car helped me confirm my ideas of how I should set my car up.

I run Hawk HPs on my RX2 and they are very very good. Be ready from some squealing though, but my exhaust usually drowns out that noise. As mentioned earlier, they also need a little warmup time.
