I have a 1979 with the OE wedge type calipers. I also have access to a 1980 parts car in good condition. Since the 1979-80 brake fittings havr a coarse thread pattern,and the 1980 has the sliding pin calipers,will a 1980 caliper bolt on a 1979?. I am going to install speedbleeders tonight,new pads and flush out the 3year old fluid. Thanks

 

79's are crap, swap the entire brake system. check out the sa22c list.
