Brake booster Vac lines

Well I am trying to undo a previous owners idea of tearing all the emissions out and not carrying about vac lines. On the brake booster I noticed there was a line coming off the top that had no sort of plug in it, but at the same time Im not feeling any vac from it. should I plug this hole? And how can I check to make sure the brake booster is working fully?

And yes I did search. Thankyou for your help

there should be a hose connecting to that from a vacuum source on the intake. otherwise there's no vacuum assist for the brake booster and it will be a bitch to stop. this is known as "power brakes."

There will be no vacuum coming from the booster, the vacuum comes from the back of the intake manifold. If the booster is not working the brake pedal will be hard.

^^ what they said, only 1 big vacuum line for the brake booster, if it's not working you'd know it.

I fixed the problem. I thought the car needed pads and rotors, wrong it was just vac lines.
