'84 is 12A if GS, S, and GSL. 13B is GSL-SE. 11A was not offered in America, or at all, to my knowledge.

11A never existed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_Wankel_engine

As far as the bra, that sounds more along a custom job. But, you have to be careful with putting a bra on the car. When you have that thing on, the sun fading the paint job will show after a long time and once you remove the bra, you might notice a color difference.

I had a bra like that for my very first rx7 (and car). I never put it on until it got hit in the front and I used it to hide the gap in the bumper. It looked OK but what i hated was driving down the road and having the headlight bra-let fly up and flap inthe wind. You could roll them up but them it looked really gay. I alway had to remove it when it got wet too...

What your talking about is a:
LeBra bra...Perhaps the finest of bras made for our RX-7s.

I have had a few different bra's come along with cars Ive bought, some with the velcro light covers, and I can say that nothing comes close to the LeBra. They have seperate covers for the pop-up lights so that theres no trickyness like the cheaper ones.
Although I have never liked them myself..I actually have a brand new one sitting in my room, but I just cant bring myself to get rid of it just yet.

The owner is mearly confusing the 1.1L as a 11a. The 12A is 1146cc. Mazda rounded up, rather than down.
Only 2 engines available in any RX-7, was a 12A, or 13B. All US 12A's were carbed, and all US 13B's were FI. (in the RX7)
