To answer your question about making it work, Im not really sure. I would think that you would want to take the stock BOV off, and see if you can fabricate some sort of mounting flange to make it work in the stock location (on the carb bonnet). If that doesnt work, you will just have to install it the way most cars are installed by making some kinda block off plate for the stock location and seal that up, then put it in the intake line between the turbo and the bonnet. I hope that makes sense.

That is exactly what I had in mind TJ. The manifold pressure should be the same intake line between the turbo and bonnet shouldn't it? I will have to see what the hole looks like when I remove the Cartech BOV and then I'll post pics. Maybe you guys can give me ideas on the best way to make a block off plate for it. Do BOV's fail regularly, or can something cause it to fail?

Does the one I picked come with any flanges or adaptors like in the pic? Anybody checked ebay for one of those? If I decide to make a block off plate, then how thick should the sheet aluminum be and what can I use for a gasket?

I would think just get some 1/8" aluminum, its cheap. Cut it to fit, file sides, sand for that "brushed look" maybe even clear coat, whatever. Then, just use some gasket maker goop or whatever. Im sure that would work just fine. Although, Ive never read anything about it, and Ive never had a turbo car, so Im just kinda using educated guesses.

As far as that BOV is concerned, I dont think it comes with any flanges, but you can buy the flanges (as well as the BOV) from Racing Beat.

BOV:

Steel Flange:

Aluminum Flange:

Im sure you could find this stuff elsewhere, Im just remember seeing it on Racing Beats website as well as the flanges. Im sure if you did a little digging around you could find it cheaper or whatever.
