bought another RX7 today

I bought a 1985 GSL for 250.00 enigne is crap. over heats in about 15 minutes. I have an engine from a 1980 and want to put it in. anyone see any problems I may incure in this project? If all the emissions goodies are removed how long do you think the swap will take.

Also, will get pics in the near future.

Shouldn't take too long to pull the engine and put it back since its carb'd, a few hours to pull the engine and another few to put it back in. Could prolly do it in a day if you have all the tools and space.

can I use the carb and intake off the 85 on the 80 engine? I know the 80 intake needs to be welded closed in a spot to work on the 85. everything should swap over correct.
