bolt pattern adaptors. rx7carl? carlrx7?

is it rx7carl, or carlrx7 who has the red car with the body kit? i've pm'd the wrong guy before since i got the two mixed up, so i'll call you out here instead.

i remember reading your cardomain site and you stated that your father had custom made your adaptors for around $80 (cost of materials). i really need a set of these, and it seems they run for a minimum of about $200 from what i could find, not to mention cpracing's adaptors at $360!

maybe you can talk your father into making a few of those for us forum members, and he can make a few bucks too!. i'd be willing to pay at least $140 for a set, you can count on that!. im sure others would be interested as well.

i have a set of wheels that i used on my crx for a while, and want to mount thgem on the rx7 to replace the stockers...so i need adaptors from 4x110mm to 4x100mm. disc brakes all around (85 gsl). can you help me?

thanks, nick

Are you looking for adapters to put 5 bolt rims on your 1st gen?

CP Racing sells them too.

not to be rude, but if you read my first post in this thread you would see that i mentioned how cp racing's adaptors are expensive ($320) a set, and that i want to mount 4x100 wheels, although 5 bolt pattern would also give many choices. thanks anyways

hey,, sorry its taken a while, they got me on grave shift 12+2 hours a day 6 days a week getting ready for evals. not to mention tring to finish my BA ..

the adaptors were basically made from the rear rotors that i got from the junk yard (4) i put them on a lath and turned them down so only the center part was left. then turned it some more till it was 1" thick. now the bolt pattern was still 4x110 so i just bent them out evenly and slid the rim on. I know not a good way, but after getting everything centered i could get up to about 80 mph then the car would start to shake apart.

i dont know wut year your car is, but buying the adaptors is completely useless. if you could find a SE in the j-yard, strip the rear and front strut assemblies, you'll have 4x4.5 and can go over 85mph. LOL

thats what i ended up doing after bending an axle. and it ended up costing me less than 400 bucks.

i hope this helps.

I've got the CPRacing adaptors on the back of my GSL. They are decent but kind of a pain to install in the rear if you've got discs, you've got to pull the axle. They install very easily in the front however.

yea i was about to buy them but the whole reason was so it would be easy

my friend just came up with a idea and wants to know if it will work......................he says since the rear just has the rotor sitting on the axle nicly why not just buy an -se rotor put it on our gsl put the 2 screws to secure it and then tape the holes out on the axle using the brake rotor holes since they will line up nicly then just but the cp racing adpter for the front........................is he onto somthing...i might try it since i have a drill and a tap and dye kit just weird i might mess up the rear i have to install this summer

You have to pull the axles out of the housing with a slide hammer in order to tighten down this one nut. Other than that they've been nice and smooth.
