Anyone rebuilt a Mallory Comp 70?

The one I bought months back for my project is bad. It turns but has no suction. I'm gonna check to see if theres still a warranty on it, but if there isn't I'll rebuild it, I know they have kits. How hard is it to do? I wouldn't think it'd be too hard, just looking for some personal experiences.

I have never rebuilt mine but I did take it apart to see how it works (its a bad habit I have had since childhood) and there were no big surprises that i remember. (It has been about two years ). I reassembled it and it works fine.

PS Can anyone tell me how to reassemble my laptop???

pss Does anyone know why the summit catalog states that the comp 70 only flows 30gph?? I thought it flowed 70.
