Does anybody know if and where the factory bondo spots are, I want to make sure I have it right. I'm working on the rear quarter panels down, and doing away with the molding, and gonna have it come out smooth. I also noticed how crazy good of a paint job this car had, and it was almost a factory 2 tone. The color code is the silver, but it has maroon half way down it, and its pretty dark. Its so detailed, they even have behind the gas tank door latch. I was looking at it like wtf? This had to have done at a dealer being its a 79.

Anex, about the paint. Are you saying that below the mouldings (the rubber) it is maroon? Does it happen to say RX 7 in the maroon spot? I think that's factory, actually.

 

HAHA gregs, you make me laugh.. I already did alot of body work, and I know what im doing, and its gonna be over some time. But what stumped me is how good this maroon paint was. It was sprayed over the factory silver though, as I found out.
