Talking body kits

I own an 1984 RX-7 GSL and want to put a body kit on it. i want to loose the front bumper and have the kit cover the whole front, also some rear end fenders to fit 10" wide tires

does any one know where i could find some different looking kits that will fit, or at least will any other car's kit fit and still look good.

Wow. That's horendus. I'd check into some widebodies if you want wide rear tires, because you'd want a wider front end too and not just the rears being wide and looking a complete dumbass. It will be expensive. I'd recommend getting the car in great shape mechanically wise before looks

Firebirdslayer666 (aka dumbass)
i don't want a full wide body back end "dumbass" i just want some more room for wider tires and the reason i want bigger tires is because the engine is done up (ford 302 over 300hp).

nice kit, like the fenders not to big or small, what else have you done to the body.

Well if you knew anything about your RX-7 that you have you would know that you can't do anything but widebody on the rears to fit 10" wide tires. I wouldn't be bragging about a 302 in these parts either. You'd have to actually have some sort of brain activity to be able to pull the look off, which I'm sorry to say but all I see is a flatline

All I wanted to know is where i could find a kit for a car. Didn’t want opinions, didn't want judgment, just kit info

"Please watch your posts. If someone is asking for info, kindly refrain from injecting negative opinions (unless of course its something like a safety issue). This will stop info threads from becoming debate threads/flame wars. Its not your car, you do not have to like what the owner wants to do to it, just respect his or her right to do as they wish with their car."

Thanks for the opinion but keep it to your self.

wow! did the noob just call firebirdslayer a dumbass? look out trochoid, this kid might know a thing or two more than you, and take a shot at your title of rotorgod.

as to the uber-noob, way to burn bridge(ports) in what could have been the most useful took in doing anything with that car. i think some words need to be said to firebirdslayer, at least show that you're adult enough to earn back a little bit of respect from the people who can help you out.

If you were looking into getting kit info, all you had to do was search, plain and simple. You post in here because you want our opinions and hands on experience. If you didn't want our opinion then you shouldn't have posted and I really don't think you should be on this forum wasting space. If anyone has anything to say about me they can say it to me personally and not be middle school about it

Welcome to the forum. The photo you put up first has floated around here before, and the general concensus is that it is a bit outlandish. Yes, one of the forum members was a little outspoken with his opinion, but your response was uncalled for. Remember that you are "the new guy" and try to behave accordingly. If you treat the members with the respect they are due, then this forum will provide you with a wealth of information and guidance. But nobody with half a brain would walk into a party full of strangers and start throwing punches... Just something to consider. Good luck with your project.

FYI--i think the front is off of a 180sx kit. it definately wont be a bolt and go job. there will need to be modifications done to the bumper, mount, etc. itll totally ruin the lines of the car, but it does give it the great ricer effect. for a car of this era with this type of body lines youll want a kit with less "waves" and more "corners."

all in all, its your car, do what you want. youre the one who has to drive it. youre the one who has to do the work/pay for the work. youre the one who has to look at it everyday. youre the one who has to deal with redicule/praise from fellow car enthusiest.

I have a Wings West body kit on my 82GS. Unfortunetly, they are no longer in business; however, I think erebuni makes a similar kit.
