Blowthough Question...

Hey guys, before anyone lays into me... I've already researched the archives.

With that being said I am curious if anyone would be willing to share their specs and what type of carb they are running on a 12a turbo setup. I would really like to shy away from the nikki carbs. If I can get my ducks in a row I plan on having my plates street ported, but there again am not sure on what type/size of street port and if templates are available. So if anyone has any information they would be willing to share I would love you long time.

oh specs for a streetported 13b frankenstein blowthrough would also be appreciated. If not I'll shoot whatshisface from rotaryshack a PM

thanks guys

You can turbo a stock nikki carburetor. I plan on turboing a side draft OER.

Porting templates are sold at pineapple racing, racingbeat, and rotaryshack, off the top of my head. Street ports and bridgeports are 2 different beasts.

I would say grab a 48IDF and get it boostprepped. You can run that on the engine before you get it ported/turboed as well.

I'm planning on using a Holley 650 for my large-streetported 13B blow-through project. I'll be sticking with a stock FC turbo initially because I'm a broke college student.

You can turbo your car for around $1500, the problem is how much you do it yourself
