Blow through carb???

Blow through carb???

everywere ive read about putting a turbo on an engine with a carby, they always have a blow through carby setup.
what is this??? and whats it do??

the airflow goes through the turbo first, and then the carb. it "blows through" the carb.

as opposed to drawthrough in when the carb is before the turbo - the turbo draws air through the carb.
