blocking off omp

in search for a quick fix to block off the omp since i've done an engine change and removed all emissions and going with premix, i've ran a small hose connecting the two outlets from the omp together. eventually i plan on removing it completely and making a block off plate, but for now is this ok? if not, any other suggestions o how to stop the oil from leaking

That will not work, they are bothing pumping out oil, so the tube will fill and leak oil out.

with my holley setup it only uses 2 of the OMP lines, i just jammed 2 short bolts in there to block it off. not the greatest way to do it, but i've driven it this way for a good 8 months without a problem.

As long as the hoses are clamped on tight enough, it should work fine. The OMP doesn't really put out enough pressure to create any problems with this, but just loosely fitting the hose on will not work because it will leak.
