blocking off OMP

blocking off OMP
Whats the best way to do this, I just got a used weber 45dco carb and am going to be running premix. I have read that it is bad to just plug the holes, what is the best way to block off the omp are there any companys that make blockoff plates specifically for this? Ive searched a bit but have only found second generation threads about blocking the omp off.
I don't really want to tap in lines for the OMP, and to block off the omp does the engine have to be pulled? When you block it off what all do you take out?
Thanks

You do not have to removing the engine, but it would be good to get the fan out just for room. Take the old unit out, push it against some cardboard and you have a template for you metal work! Use alot of black hi temp to seal and your all set. The injectors can be left the way they are, but since you have a carb thay should be easy to get too. Use the injector rings as your spacers and get some bolts with the same pattern to replace. I believe the top 2 are shorter then the bottom ones.
