Big update on my turbo 82. and some real specific questions about my new SE im gettin

I have been away from this board for far too long. time to update on my turbo project, as A LOT has happened.

check out this thread for all the details.

http://www.mnsportcompacts.net/forum...1&page=1&pp=25

and my questions regarding SE's/

could my current 82 interior go into the SE? wiring is not a problem, as im using a haltech and a new Painless wiring harness. What kind of problems could I run into? will my manual window cranks fit in the new doors?

In the above thread, there are pictures of the fuel cell and mount, The fuel cell is bolted up to a metal plate. That plate is roughly the outer shape of the rear parts of the frame... is the rear frame design diferent from the 82 to the SE? will this plate fit in a SE?

Looking good.
Piece of advice....if you havent installed the trans yet,get that CF clutch off of there unless your fond of clutch grenades.Trust me,Ive seen and been directly involved with several CF Dual Friction(their "best" clutch) failures,on cars with probably less HP than you appear to be pushing.
After a moderate 1-2 shift on my 300hp 84,my disc blew apart after only a year's service.Replaced it with this overkill, but super-duper clutch.........

It seams to be performing very well.

pedal effort is moderate. it engages very smooth and fast.

I have not yet been able to put much power down, due to bugs, and lack of tuning.

I never had any issues with the feel.In fact, the CF DF was one of the most civilized performance clutches Ive ever driven.....they just cant handle any power. The feramic pucks on the flywheel side are known to come off(my buddies STOCK Civic EX, and a couple others Ive spoke to)
The organic side of mine completely disentegrated during a 1-2 shift after a year of moderate use,no drags......just be prepared, especially with the HP youll soon be putting down.

I'm pretty sure you're interior will bolt up to the SE. There have been many people that did vice versa w/o any problems.

yeah, I love the interior I have right now.

really simple and clean, and its in great shape.

plus all the guages and metal work I did.

also, it will have a Power steering rack. I dont really want or could fit the P/S pump on my engine. can I loop the lines and run it manual? It would probably be a bitch to turn, but im a big guy.
